More Questions Than Answers
It was disappointing to her that the diaries had only provided her with more questions than answers. At this point, she was aware that the only thing that remained was to have a conversation with her husband; however, the subject matter was so uncomfortable that she was unsure whether or not she would even be able to get the words out of her mouth. She drove home due to the fact that she still had some time to go through the things that belonged to her husband.

Alana began to get feelings of unease once she returned home. In order to begin searching for answers, it seemed appropriate to begin in Leo’s study. She accessed the drawer on his desk, which was a storage space for essential items such as bills and documents. However, rather than discovering what she had anticipated, she discovered receipts that left her perplexed. The days and times that Leo had stated he would be working late were included in the meal plans for the two of them. It was clear from the quantities that it was not merely a snack but rather a complete meal.
