She Missed Her Sister
It was her assumption that only the most recent two or three diaries would be of any value, so she went through all of the diaries and arranged them in a stack from oldest to most recent. Her eyes started to mist up with tears as she read the notes that her sister had written in her diary. Due to the fact that she had just finished reading all of the positive things that her sister had written about her, she felt an even greater sense of longing for her sister.

After a period of approximately one hour, Alana closed the final diary. As she let all of the facts to sink in, she let out a sigh. Although her sister wrote in great detail about her days, the name of her spouse was never included in any of her writing. Stranger still was the fact that her sister never mentioned that she had misplaced her wedding band in any of her writings. Alana pondered the reason behind that. In the event that she ever misplaced her wedding ring, she would most certainly document the event in her personal journal.
