In 2018, cannabis use became legal in Canada. However, it appears that the creators of The Simpsons foresaw this happening back in 2005. In the episode where they meet Ned’s Canadian twin, Homer, Ned, and Apu travel to Winnipeg. The dude tells them it’s completely legal in Canada and offers them a “puff of the reeferino.”

The Hovering Car
Although this forecast has not yet materialized, it will in the near future. In an early episode, Homer and Bart rode in what they called a “Hover Car.” This “Float” vehicle could move in any direction without having to turn. It’s worth noting that new Tesla vehicles use a similar principle. We haven’t seen anything yet, but even if we did, we wouldn’t be surprised to see one of these in the next years.
