This biopic covers the rise to power of real-life drug lord Frank Lucas during the Vietnam War era in America in the 1970s, as well as the officer dedicated to putting him to jail. He succeeds in establishing himself as Harlem’s top heroin importer by buying straight from his supplier in Thailand and transporting the drugs via returning war veterans. The film scored a solid 7.8 rating on IMDB and rightfully goes down as one of the best Vietnam War films of all time.

Thirty years after German-American pilot Dieter Dengler was shot down and imprisoned over Laos, this film follows Dengler and filmmaker Werner Herzog as they return to the location where Dengler was taken in Laos. Dengler recalls what he went through in order to flee in considerable detail, with Herzog even making him repeat violent moments. The documentary scored a great 8.0 rating on IMDB.
