Lloyd Price, a pioneering rock ‘n’ roll star and singer-songwriter, died on May 10 as a result of complications from diabetes, according to his widow. Known for his up-tempo songs such as “Lawdy Miss Clawdy,” “Personality,” and the semi-forbidden “Stagger Lee,” Lloyd was most known for his edgy persona. He died at the age of 88.

Tawny Kitaen, an actress most known for her part in the 1984 film “Bachelor Party,” in which Tom Hanks co-starred, and for her appearances in various music videos, including Whitesnake’s “Is This Love” and “Here I Go Again,” passed away on May 7 in Newport Beach, California. She was 59 years old at the time.
