Today, technology allows you to find out beforehand, but some moms choose not to. Kim was sure she had a girl, but she didn’t want to know. Because of all the problems she was having, she justified it by saying that women are more prone to further complications. Her daughter Hazel also confirmed it would be a girl.

Since working as a doula, she had seen and gone through enough experiences to help her through this time.
