Kim and her husband Travis were keen to add another child, and thankfully, Kim got pregnant in 2015. It all seemed like a dream until she suffered a miscarriage shortly after. Regardless, they didn’t give up just yet, and a few months later, Kim became pregnant again. She was afraid of a second miscarriage, especially because of Travis. She didn’t want to do that to her husband again, wow what an angel!

Kim was more than prepared for a second child. Not only was she already a mother, but she had many doula experiences that gave her the strength she needed. Unfortunately, her miscarriage replaced that courage with a little apprehension, and she couldn’t help but worry. Although she did not miscarry, her pregnancy had some issues. With each trimester new topics came up. Every day there was something new, whether it was her gallbladder or strange images on the anatomy scan, it was all too much for Kim. But that’s not all, just wait and see what happens next.
