Staring at the Wall
In a gentle manner, she returned the box to its original location and then closed the drawer of the nightstand. The moment she sat down on the bed, she did nothing except stare at the wall for a little moment. It was as if she suddenly relived moments from several months ago in her thoughts. The fact that her husband worked late one night without a valid reason, as well as the fact that he sneaked out of the house on a Saturday to “run some errands” without her involvement.

After that, a frightening thought occurred to her during that moment. As the idea occurred to her, she let out a gasp and covered her mouth with her palm. A muttered “No…” came from her mouth. “No, that surely can’t be it…” After removing a tear from her eye, she jumped up and ran away. It was imperative that she discover the truth about this matter; if she did not, she would never be able to let go of it. And she was well aware of the person to whom she should direct her attention.
