In a 2002 episode of The Simpsons, a criminal attaches cotton calls to ferrets. He used to sell them as expensive toy poodles. As unbelievable as it may appear, the same incident occurred in 2013! Perhaps the man selling the ferrets was inspired by the show.

Furthermore, when it was discovered, a nuclear power plant was nearby.
