We have no idea how the designers of this one came up with such a ridiculous prediction. Homer comes up with an idea and scribbles a challenging equation on the board. This equation may appear ordinary to us. However, the mass of the Higgs boson particle, which was discovered in 2012, turns out to be extremely close to this equation. This equation explains how everything in the universe has mass. It’s beyond our comprehension how they pulled this off.

Donald Trump’s Presidency
One of the most well-known predictions made by the program was Donald Trump’s election as President. Marge states in an episode in which she runs for president, “We inherited the fiscal issue from President Trump.” It was a reference to his Reform Party campaign at the time. However, following his election in 2016, the forecast became much more accurate. Surprisingly, the computer predicted that he will run again in 2024.
