Due to the fact that they are low-maintenance dogs, you won’t have to spend a lot of time caring for them. They have just minor exercise requirements and do not require excessive upkeep. Despite being little in stature and occupying limited space, they are perfectly suited for cuddling and will always be ready for some serious affection.

Basset Hounds have a laid-back, affectionate attitude that makes them excellent companions for senior citizens. Despite the fact that they can be a little stubborn, they are extremely affectionate, to the point that some claim they want to follow you around closely, although that is not the case. If you have a Basset Hound, you must be careful not to overfeed it. We are aware that they are attractive and difficult to resist, but we do not encourage them to pamper themselves with excessive food because they are prone to gaining weight quickly. When it comes to grooming, they don’t require a great deal of effort. Occasionally, an ordinary brush will suffice to clean the teeth.
