The makeover in the 2016 season of “Germany’s next top model” created quite a stir. Many GNTM hopefuls had to let their hair down here, too, like Kim Hnizdo. She arrived at the casting with long blond hair, which she was allowed to keep and film with for a few weeks – until the makeover. Then top model supervisor Heidi Klum made the decision: Kim’s hair must be cut very short! Kim considered leaving the show briefly, but was convinced otherwise. Luckily! Because her new look propelled her to the title of “Germany’s top model” in 2016.

“I don’t think it’s bad, but that’s just not me,” applicant Sally said after seeing herself in the mirror for the first time after the makeover. In 2018, she competed in the top model show and received an attention-grabbing haircut from the styling team. In an interview with Heidi Klum, the GNTM contestant stated that she will take some time to adjust to her new haircut. But Sally’s new look didn’t last long; she now has shoulder-length hair.
