Suzzanne Douglas, a long-time actress who was well-known for her work both on and off-Broadway, passed away on July 6 at her home on Martha’s Vineyard, following complications from cancer. Douglas, who appeared in the WB sitcom “The Parent ‘Hood,” said in January that she had been diagnosed with “two life-threatening malignancies,” which had altered her outlook on life. She was 64 years old.
