Alber Elbaz, a fashion designer who was once associated with the French design business Lanvin, passed away on April 24 at the age of 59. Richemont, the corporation that is financing Elbaz’s new AZ Factory fashion brand, was quoted as saying that COVID-19 was the cause of his death in the New York Times.

Jim Steinman, the Grammy-winning hitmaker responsible for some of pop music’s most epic ballads, died in April at the age of 73. He was the father of three children. Steinman died on Monday, April 19, in Connecticut, according to TMZ. He was 42 years old. Steinman had previously worked with Meat Loaf and Celine Dion on chart-topping singles.
