Stuart Damon, a veteran soap opera actor who died on June 29 at the age of 84, was remembered fondly. Damian Damon, the actor who starred as Dr. Alan Quartermaine on the television show “General Hospital,” had been suffering from the renal disease for several years. “He adored the role of Alan and was always incredibly grateful for the opportunity to play it and for the job.” “It was his love,” Damon’s son Christopher told Los Angeles television station ABC7. “It was his passion.”

Johnny Solinger, a former Skid Row singer who died on June 26 at the age of 55, was believed to have died. According to accounts, the announcement came roughly a month after he informed followers that he had been diagnosed with liver failure. The band, which Solinger was a member of from 1999 until 2015, shared a tribute to Solinger on Facebook, which said in part, “We are devastated to learn of the passing of our brother Johnny Solinger…” “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and supporters.”
