Without any second thought, the squad jumped into the truck and sped swiftly to the animals’ plight. As it turns out, those poor animals were stuck in a storm grid! If they don’t act quickly enough, so if it rains, things could be terrible for them.

Had To Act Hastily
The animals were not in immediate danger because it was not raining, but the firefighters knew they had to act hastily. Not only was the enclosure dark and deep, but the temperature was very low as well. They had to think of a way to save them, so they couldn’t waste any time.
