Slight Disadvantage
It is often better if a house is being sold fully furnished because that means it is ready for occupancy when someone buys it. In this respect, selling Joyce’s house came with a bit of a disadvantage for the buyer. True enough, everybody was astonished by the home boasting of well-preserved and gorgeous interiors with incredible pieces dating way back to the 1940s. However, the furniture pieces are not included in the sale of the home, so the new owners will have to bring in replacements.

We understand why Joyce wanted to keep her furniture and it was a good thing that her daughter inherited the beautiful pieces. It makes sense that Joyce prefers this arrangement because she is probably more comfortable with the idea of her child taking good care of the items. After all, most of them are well-preserved and tasteful antiques. All things considered, Joyce probably just wanted to sell the house, but not the items in it. However, we bet moving out of a very beautiful place will not be easy.
