Even though no one likes to walk around in a pair of stinky shoes, it happens from time to time. In fact, if your leather shoes get a little bit wet, as you could if you’re caught in a thunderstorm, they can begin to smell bad very quickly. But don’t get too worked up over it! Nothing more than wiping alcohol inside the shoes and leaving them to dry in the sun will suffice for this task. The alcohol will absorb the unpleasant odor and leave your shoes smelling as fresh as a daisy after they have been cleaned. Okay, so they won’t smell like a flower, but they will no longer stink!

Clean Makeup Brushes
When was the last time you thoroughly cleaned your makeup brushes? Unless you’ve forgotten, this is probably the best time to do it. Our makeup brushes come into contact with our skin virtually every day, therefore it’s important to clean them as frequently as possible. However, rather than purchasing an expensive makeup cleaner, simply gather your brushes and soak them in rubbing alcohol for half an hour before using them as normal. Once they’ve finished soaking, rinse them with a little soap and water and set them aside to dry naturally.
